We Have a Dream. . .

Propsal to Open an FM Radio Stations
at Kibaha and Chunya District, and Mbeya, Tanzania

(1) We all know Radio is a powerful tool of mass Communication. In Africa where radio broadcasting stations are few and far apart,and where printed materials are few and small in volumes and difficult to distribute because road and railway network is small and bad, the radio plays a role in mass communication that no other means of mass communication can rival.

Television is too expensive for the average African pocket. Few can afford a TV. Small Radio receiving sets ranging from pocket size sets to other portable sizes are easily purchased by many at low competitive prices. They are powered with cheap multipurpose batteries that are easily available even in the most remote rural villages. So a Christian Radio Station has greater chance of reaching the greatest numbers of otherwise forgotten rural villagers with the word of God . What a great privilege it should be to operate Christian Radio Station at Kibaha and Chunya District, but we need your help.

(2) Our voluntary partner in Christian Radio Broadcasting will be the government of Tanzania. It is going to be a social policy of our radio stations at both Kibaha and Chunya to promote uncontroversial policy advocacy in the public interest that is in line with Government social-economic plans, good goverance, the rule of law and human rights, democracy and gender-equality transparency and accountability in Public Affairs. We will join the fight against corruption and graft in high places, drug trafficking, prostitution, abortion and poverty reduction through creation of employment. We will advocate better land use and planning, control of climate and change through tree planting, protection of water sources at the foot hills of mountains and water springs, rivers, rivulets and lakes. We will promote medical and no medical HIV/AIDS intervation, and HIV/AIDS preventive Education campaigns.

(3) By encompassing these aspects of policy advocacy issues, our vision partners will multiply from one (the Government) to several voluntary service organizations or non Governmental organizations such as those engaged in the activities indicated above.

(4) As our Radio Stations are going to be primarily in nature and purpose Christian, with a Christian message as contained in the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ, our most worthy, most treasured vision partners are going to be local and foreign Christian Radio Broadcasting Stations, ministries, their individual leaders and Boards of Directors. By this letter on our website we are inviting any of these of our Brothers and Sisters in Christ to team up with us in opening the proposed Radio Stations at Kibaha and Chunya District, Mbeya.That will operate under the management of The Pentecostal Missionary Church (PMC).

(5) If you would like to become one of our Vision Partners, you may do so by visiting our website let us know of your interest to partner.

We request your church congregation or Board, or you alone, or with friends pray for smooth start of these proposed Radio Broadcasting Stations at Kibaha and Chunya, Mbeya, and successful completion and take off of the projects.

Pray also for;
- The leading of the Holy Spirit that He will guide saints and ambassadors of Jesus Christ to form a team or teams that will look for and forward to us all needed radio equipment, all accompanying of equipment and required funding in money to PMC.

- Trained and capable manpower to operate and manage the Projects.

- Stakeholders as service users, or clients who as local and foreign Christian Radio Broadcasting Stations will channel their broadcasts through PMC Radio FM Broadcasting Stations at Kibaha and Chunya District, and Mbeya.

- Clients who will buy radio air time to broadcast the Gospel through our proposed stations.

- Christian sister radio stations that will agree to share and exchange programmes as part of Christian globalization.

(6) Radio Programmes for the Kibaha Station will be hand-tailored to be of special relevance to Muslims on this Coastal belt of East Africa, from Mozambique in the South to Kenya in north.

(7) Radio Programmes in Chunya District, and Mbeya stations will be geared to be of relevance to the strong Christian presence.There are also many who still subscribe to non-Christian, non Moslem religions. Mbeya region is the fourth largest city in Tanzania, and yet there are only two Christion radio stations owned by Roman Catholic and Moravian churches. Mbeya is one of the strongholds of the reformed Churches in Tanzania. It is, on the other hand,one of the strongholdings of satanic forces in the country. But the word of God shall always emerge victorious. A Christian radio station such as the one we are now proposing will be ammunition enough to destroy Satan's stronghold in the area.

(8) Investing in spreading the Gospel in one way or another is investing in the Promotion of the Kingdom of God. By showing practical interest in these Proposed Radio Stations by prayer, putting God first, and by other expressions of moral and material support, you will be building the Kingdom of Heaven on earth and in Heaven. Many will come to the knowledge of the word of God and be saved through your intangible and tangible contributions through grace of our Lord now, and at the end of time. For faith with works is more real while faith without works is dead. We are working to apply for allocation of radio broadcasting frequencies and FM waves for Kibaha, and for Chunya and Mbeya separately when Project Sponsors show up us their interest.
