Messages from Pastor Gervase Martin Masanja

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Our National Conference will be held here at Kibaha from 24 September 2008 to 3 October 2008. PMC Pastors from in and out are requested to report at Kibaha on 20 September, three days before the Conference starts. If any of our supporter friends would like to sponsor our poor pastors it would be greatly appreciated. It is expensive for them to come, and of course, our Church needs to provide food and accommodation which we can hardly afford.

June-July 2008

Dear faithful friends,
I wanted to thank God for this opportunity to share with you how the Lord is manifesting Himself at PMC Tanzania.

We Praise God and Give Thanks; \\o//

(1) In June 2008 we conducted a seminar on the word of God for 10 days, working together with Pastor Paul Mwongo and his wife from Kenya. We saw the Lord at work as many people were healed and set free from the bondage of sin.

(2) In July we received a visitor, Sister Anita from Australia. She conducted a seminar on the word of God for 3 days. She taught the word with power and anointing, warning the false teachings now going on in Tanzania. Apostolic and prophetic ministers that tell people to sell everything and bring money to their churches so that they get healed and prosper. There was a great revival following this seminar at Kibaha town, the town was shaken. People responded positively and received much blessing.

(3) I and the PMC team visited Mtanana Villages in Kongwa District, Dodoma region. We provided much needed service to some 300 orphaned children, teaching them the word of God, feeding them, giving them soft drinks & bites, encouraging them to look upon the Lord for their needs.

(4) In the same month, I and the PMC team visited a group of some 242 handicapped people at Mlandizi, where we gave 50 wheel chairs. Some of these handicapped people have never been anywhere much away from the houses and villages where they were born. They are now able to be mobile, through on a small scale for the first time in their lives.

(5) The church still goes on ministering to the needy and the sick by giving food, clothing, etc.

(6) On the 10th anniversary of the founding of PMC Tanzania, we managed to give gifts of T-shirts and Bibles to the steady-going, faithful members of the congregation.

SPECIAL PRAYER REQUESTS

A. We have been given a notice to vacate our family residence now. We need $ 1,300 as funds towards a different house for my family. The notice requires us to vacate this house by 1 August 2008 so please pray for us to avoid embarrassment.

B. My daughters, Rosemary and Agness, are due to return to school after vacation. We request prayers for funds for school fees and travel.

C.The PMC annual Conference 2008 will start on 24 September 2008 and end on 2 October 2008 at Kibaha town, Dar Es Salaam. Pastors from 5 (five) countries of Mozambique, Malawi, Zambia, Democratic Republic of Congo and Burundi will be in attendance, plus Tanzanian Pastors. The meeting will cost a lot of US money. Please pray for the raising of funds towards expenses the meeting will entail.

D. We still need your cooperation and prayers for the renovation work at the church building and the PMC commercial wing.

E. The churches income-generating projects will start in August 2008. Equipment, like sewing machines, carpentry tools, and computers are on the high seas on their way to PMC from the UK. A gift of rolls of textile materials was donated by a friend from Australia. We need your prayers for funds to cover pre-operational expenses and capital.

F. We are still on our knees praying for transportation equipment to solve the riddle concerning mobility. We need a 40 seater bus and a car for our pastors' day-to-day moving about.

G. We invite foreign visitors to visit us for preaching, teaching and such other tasks as they might choose. Pray that God will open doors for them to be able to come.
