Wheelchairs for the Disabled and Needy

Our church mission is always looking for ways to help the many needy people around us. We may have more disabled people in Tanzania than many other countries. Nor do we have government programs to pay for their care, as is the case in North America.

Recently we received a 40 foot container bringing us 550 wheelchairs for the disabled, from the Free Wheelchair Mission in California. We gave 10 wheelchairs to Kurasini Salvation Army Primary School and served 170 Children with food and drinks. When you hear their testimonies, you are moved to tears. Like other disabled children these were rejected, abandoned, chased, and so on, but the Salvation Army collected them and brought them into this school. They are doing fine, rejoicing and they have HOPE.



I have promised to help them by giving wheelchairs, clothes, shoes and crutches when we get them.

This leads us to appeal to you, our friends to plan to help us visit and share with other agencies which help the needy.

We are very grateful for this shipment of wheelchairs we are distributing, but we see a need also for bikes and tricycles for the children. For some it would make it easier to get to school.

Distribution of such goods is also is very expensive, we have no Transport, we have to hire, we have been Praying for this but you can help us by donating funds online via our website contact form.
